Diogo Rego

Co-founder & Executive Partner

Diogo started his career as a Structural Engineer at CivilSer and later developed his activity as a Project Manager at Teixeira Duarte and Rockbuilding. In the latter, he was one of the leaders for the Entrecampos Project (formerly Feira Popular), being involved in all aspects of the process, namely in Procurement, Design, and Licensing.

Francisco Pinto

Co-founder & Executive Partner

Francisco developed his activity as Project Manager at Teixeira Duarte and at Rockbuilding, where he was involved in some of the main projects in the Lisbon region. He was also responsible for launching and developing Rockbuilding’s Urban Planning and Due Diligence (TDD) department, with the execution of more than a hundred TDD’s in Portugal.

João Gorjão

Executive Partner
After graduating in Civil Engineering, João began his career in construction management and, in 2016, he broadened his scope to project management, ensuring alignment between technical teams, investors, and regulatory authorities across large-scale, mixed-use developments. At NewCycle, alongside his management duties, João applies his experience to the company’s consultancy and project management services.

João Nabais

Project Manager

João Nabais is a civil engineer who began his career as a site supervisor. In 2016 started as a site manager at Savills in Lisbon, mostly on fit-out projects for offices and retail. At the same time, he also provided technical support to the various business areas. More recently, as Associate Director, he was responsible for the operational management of the construction and budgeting teams.

ROSA AMARAL

Project Manager
Holds a master’s degree in Architecture and a full membership of the OA (Portuguese Chamber of Architects). Working as an architect, has focused her work on large Portuguese and international projects across all stages in Aripa Arquitectos and ARC.

Maria Burt Magro

Project Manager
Maria Magro holds a master’s degree in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon and has been a full member of the OA (Portuguese Chamber of Architects) since 2019. Working as an architect since 2019, has focused her work on large Portuguese projects across all stages in Pereira Miguel Arquitectos and Aguiar Maia Arquitectos.

Gonçalo Américo

Project Manager:
Gonçalo is an Architect with over 9 years of experience, who joined NewCycle in 2025. He holds an Integrated Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urbanism. He specializes in architectural licensing. Gonçalo leverages advanced digital assessment technology, including 3D Visualization, and Drone Survey, to perform detailed technical inspections and generate comprehensive visual documentation.
